Version 15: The Ascendant Revamp
Mount camera positioning fix for void elf/helf mounts.
-Certain Paladin mounts fixed thanks to Atraxian.
-Changed mount models on a number of mounts. This includes reverting the Headless Horseman's mount to its original form and some of the northrend drakes -----and netherwing drakes to some of Atraxian's updated models. Love some of Khyle's mount updates but would prefer to stay in line with original themes and add ---completely new/different modesl for new mounts.
-All flyable mounts are usable in EK and Kalimdor. Please note that there's still specific flying mounts intended for vanilla and restrictions that follow them.
Items and Mechanics:
-Vendor for T2.5 in exchange for original tokens and proper rep added in AQ40.
-Leggo trinket orbs have class restrictions lifted for crafting. (Note: Bots cannot equip more than one titanscale armament.)
-Bindings of the Windseeker are no longer unique pickups.
-Fixed Ret pally's Tier 1 8pc to not trigger a 6 sec CD on Exorcism
-Ret pally's Tier 2 3pc set bonus has been rebalanced.
-Restored old headless horseman mount
-Sockets have been removed from TF, Sulfuras, and Smolder loot (except leggos).
-Maiden's Circle is no longer a random drop and is instead a JC recipe now.
-The Socketeer in Molten Core has had her role changed and now teaches the Socket Punch recipe. Alternatively, you can gain the recipe from the Thorium -----Brotherhood. Socket Puch is a blacksmithing recipe and cannot be applied to items higher than ilevel 95. They can now also only be applied to your trinkets, rings, necklace, belt, or cloak.
-The gem vendor in MC has been removed. Jewelcrafters now have access to these gems from their trainer.
-Xizzer Fizzbolt in Winterspring now sells a portable mailbox schematic for vanilla engineers. These mailboxes are used up on use, unlike MOLL-E.
-The vanilla enchants vendor now exchanges many enchants for mats now rather than gold. However, the mats required from her are much higher than the standard mat requirements players with enchanting require (double, in most cases).
-Stat Bonus reroller is now an inscription crafted item. Requires Primordial Essence which can only be gained from instance challenges and the occasional inconspicuous chest.
-Various rebalancing and item fixes.
-Druid Legendary fixes: Symbiosis spells are now properly unlearned when leggo is unequipped. Spells have also been fixed to work with shapeshifting.
-The Verdant Keeper inside the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj now sells new Inscription, Enchanting, and Jewelcrafting recipes for those exalted with the Brood of Nozdormu. Reagents for said recipes can be found via Scarab Bags, mining Obsidian Chunks, and doing instance challenges. Obsidian shards are also now prospectable for some of these mats. He also has new mounts for those with appropriate reputation levels.
-DK trinket I thought was on Nefarian is actually there now.
Prospecting Thorium ore has a small chance at granting an arcane crystal now. Having introduced a few new recipes for JC requiring arcane crystals, I deemed it necessary.
PVP:
-Alterac Valley now has configurable points options so you can spend all weekend in there if you want.
-BGs will now also award arena points (eventually I'll make vendors without ratings required)
-AB, AV, and WSG now award marks of honor yet again. Rep/honor tokens have been added as such.
Dungeon and Raid Adjustments:
-UBRS rebalanced with a couple of cool encounters revamped.
-AQ 20 and ZG are now 10-man raids and have been adjusted accordingly.
-ZG enchant quests are no longer class-specific and shoulder enchants no longer have a level restriction.
-Jinxed piles' MC now has a cooldown.
-Bots will now automatically move to death position for Vael when hit by Burning Adrenaline
-Hakkar has a revamped encounter. Other bosses have received changes as well and some alterations accounting for bots.
-Scholomance has been updated and Ras Frostwhisper now features new mechanics.
-Stratholme has been updated and now features a few bosses with new mechanics.
-Second pass of all vanilla dungeons has taken place with new mechanics on trash and bosses, some more exciting than others.
-More Naxx 40 Fixes including bots avoiding Grob's poison cloud damage, allowing bleeds and infection on certain targets, adjusting spells from 80 counterparts to 60, four horsemen mark damage fixes, etc. Some bosses have been adjusted for increased difficulty.
-Fixed a kill credit bug for Illidan and KJ.
-Volchan's damage has taken a chill pill; Volcanoes are now attackable.
-Crystallon has been changed up a bit. Crystal Spike will now hit two targets at a time, shockwave's frontal cone damage has been reduced, but area shockwave radius and damage has been increased and cast time reduced by 500ms. Earthquake has been removed.
-Golemagg's Magma Splash will only stack 15 times and has a short ICD shared between melee.
-Setis has new mechanics.
-Nef in P1 of BWL will now target bots for abilities as well.
-Kazzak has more health.
-Touched up on Nightmare Dragons a bit.
-Charred Earth visual should now reflect a more proper radius.
-Twin Emperors' fight has been altered a bit. Rather than heal each other when too close, emps will decrease their damage taken and increase damage done. The range is 40 yd. Veklor will no longer cast arcane burst and instead has a passive unholy aura. Both are no longer taunt immune. This fight is going to get another update in the future tbh.
-The Hidden Watcher has received some adjustments, including loot table.
-Dirt mounds on Ouro now have a delay after submerge. Bots will maybe do a better job attempting to avoid them.
-C'thun's eyebeams and claw tentacle summons will now target bots. Cleaned up Avatars of C'thun. Aura of Despair should be active on all players once C'thun becomes active.
-New mount added to Viscidus' loot table.
-AQ 40's first half has been generally buffed. More bot targeting methods and avoidance mechanics added.
-Bots will now position themselves properly for Saph's frost bomb and subsequent iceblocks in Naxx40.
-KT will now target bots for frost blast and mana detonation. P1 reduced from 3.8 mins to 3 mins.
-Azuregos' Mana Storm will target bots.
-Netherspite summons one portal/beam at a time. Bots will now also be targeted for void zones but avoid them if able.
-Melchezaar is now a bit more bot friendly (slightly longer shadow nova cast with longer enfeeble duration to compensate)
-Kurinnaxx will now cast Sand Trap on bots. Bots will attempt to avoid them.
-Other RoAQ fixes.
-Valthorax's Frost Bomb has had its radius reduced. Abominations spawn more often. Necrotic aura stacks more frequently. Hard enrage has been removed.
-Nefarian will only mind control if there's more than one player in raid during p1.
-Increased damage on Chromaggus' Corrosive Acid.
-Vaelastrasz will no longer cast burning adrenaline on current victim (tank).
-Fixed Midnight/Attumen combat bug
-Fixed and adjusted a number of issues in Naxx40. Buffed a few things. Included bots in a number of mechanics. Bots will now also move to predesignated areas for Polarity shift on Thaddius. DK and warrior abilities will be less useless here.
Bots and Ability Changes:
-Mana regen cheat for bots is now a config option
-Unholy DK's ghoul ability, Claw, has had its energy cost reduced by 5.
-Removed Dark Guardian Auras that accidentally got applied to DK bots (???)
-Fixed some weird rotational stuff in Bot DK trees overall.
-Frost Latch and Deathgrip added to Death Knight bots.
-Blood DK bots now have access to Goliath's Reckoning and Gorefiend's Grasp. Death and Decay cost removed. Other custom player-related talent changes added to dk bots.
-Dark Ranger's Black arrow damage reduced on targets below 20% from 5x to 3.8x.
-Dark Ranger max minion count changed from 5 to 4.
-Mage bots now have further delinations for their talent passives. Frost mages, for example, will no longer gain ignite. Precision has also been added.
-Netherwind Presence should work properly for Mage bots now.
-Water Elemental bots for frost mages and Ghoul bots for uholy dk are now permanent (again?). Ghoul bots not so permanent for other specs.
-Made a number of changes to feral druid bot's priorities.
-Targeting and filtering for Frost Latch and Gorefiend's has been greatly improved.
-New Frostfire Bolt Rank at 60. Level 75 version changed to level 70, damage adjusted down slightly.
-Most raid bosses should reset sated/exhaustion once killed.
-Bot Priest healing in general should be better.
-Bots will use a sapper charge with chat input "use sapper charges".
-Bot Shaman's Mana tide totem has been fixed.
-Enhancment shaman should use lava lash now.
-Hunter Bot Serpent Sting should now have more uptime. Deadzone has been removed like players.
-Lone Wolf damage increased by 5%.
-Rank 11 Lightning bolt is now level 60. Rank 13 Lightning bolt is now level 70.
-.spread command has been updated. Bots will now path to their positions rather than jump. Bots with Melee role will not spread. Max spread distance has been reduced to 50.0f. Default spread is 25.0f. You will not need to make your bots STAND before spreading anymore either.
-new .spreadio command has been added. Bots will spread into a larger and smaller circle. You can dynamically adjust the innerDistance and outerDistance by providing arguments to the .spreadio command, e.g., .spreadio 10 20 to set the inner circle radius to 10 and the outer circle radius to 20. If no arguments are provided, default values are used, 25 and 35.
-Slack command has new arguments for dps, healers, and melee. .npcbot command follow only [all|dps|healers|melee] example: .npcbot command follow only dps. -Additionally you can slack specifically targeted bots now too.
-New .stack command available for bots. They will either stack within melee range behind you or your target, depending on your selected unit.
-Follow command now removes slack for all or specific bots. (Toggle for hitting slack a second time to remove inaction state has been removed)
-New .pull command is available. Must have a hunter in your group to use it. Hunters will even pull out of LoS around corners.
-Holy Mightstone is now removed from the player's inventory if given to a bot. I've considered removing other consumables from player's inventory but would need feedback first as I'm sure it would upset a number of people.
Miscellaneous Updates:
-Uldum Textures fixed.
-Fixed or altered some warlock sets.
-Scourgestones are now stackable to 8000 in currency tab. -New staff weapon specialization for event horizons.
-New Threat reduction passive for event horizons.
-Race Changes are now possible again -Leewheel fixed stormwind minimap
-Changed silithid models in lieu of Atraxian's more original-like models, including mounts.
-New sprint mechanic has been added with resource management. -+/sprintedit+- to move and resize
-Starter mule mount has been retired. Will make a cameo later on.
-Scourge events now occur much less frequently. -Reverted a couple of the Dragonflight dragons.
-Orc totems fixed and updated.
-Troll totems have also been updated.
-Cleaned up parts of the Dinklestone that were nullifying certain aspects of the Heritage Horizons spells or profession. Performed additional redundant cleanups. --Added a CD to the bind menu.
-Fiery Brand's cooldown and duration has been reduced and now generates a large amount of threat. Its category cooldown has been removed.
-Other Heritage Horizons abilities adjusted and added.
-Inscription is now a secondary skill. We have plans.
-Weekly Raid Quests for Vanilla are now available at your capital's taskboard.
Improvements:
-Dungeon access for BT is now quest credit rather than item credit to deal with a particular issue (same requirement, really).
-Can now use lowercase and uppercase characters in naming characters.
-New Autobalance config options for map specific enabling. Kara is enabled by default and should remain enabled for level 60 runs.
-Reward Points shop has its own UI now.
-Cut back on login scripts significantly.
-Pathing should be improved.
-Murkly will follow better.
-Performance improvements, particularly with logins.
Event and World Changes:
-Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer now works on bots and has had its raid restriction removed.
-Rallying Cry now also hits all players in Durotar and Elwynn as well as Stormwind and Org (respectively), and occurs automatically every 6 hours.
-Spirit of Zandalar now also hits all players in STV and occurs automatically every 6 hours.
-Gilneas continues to be worked on. It's still very very rough so don't expect anything crazy. Gilneas will basically be done once Worgen are placed there as the new starting location.
Other Bug Fixes and Minor Adjustments:
-Orgimmar has had several fixes.
Dungeon Challenges:
-Nullifying Tempest now also reduces your armor by 25% and spell resistances by 75%.
-Gravity Well has been retired as a dungeon challenge.
-Slow Decay dungeon challenge should work as intended now.
-Enfeeblement now also reduces max health by 25%. Damage done now reduced by 30%. Healing received now reduced by 35%.
-Tyrannical now increases mob health by 35% and damage by 15%, down from 40% and 20%.
-Scripts and auras have been cleaned up in a number of ways and auras will now be removed from bots once they leave the dungeon or raid.
-Challenges are now randomized. You can select between 1-5 affixes. Tyrannical will always be one of the 3+ affixes, and does not occur on the first two levels. -----
-Decay and Corpse Explosion will never occur together unless 4+ affixes are active.
-After much testing, decided to remove the dot component of corpse explosion. Now it just does a flat 22.5% damage to player health, or 8.5% on non-elite mobs (some other creatures may have custom damage done amounts, such as Firesworn, which is 10%, or onyxian whelps at 5.76% etc). The dot did not stack well with --Decay, and getting bots to stop attacking can be a pain. I found myself avoiding the affix entirely due to how painful large pulls can be in places such as BWL, or --Onyxia's Lair. While I want challenges to be difficult, I don't want them to be nearly impossible. Radius has also been increased from 7.0f to 20.0f.
-Valthorax's Spell Enchant Scrolls have been moved to the Black Dragonflight Caches
-Challenge rewards have been added for all vanilla dungeons and raids (at time of this posting, not entirely true, but prior to release this will be). Vanilla raids will award raid-specific items (such as reagents), Primordial Essence, Reward Points, and caches which contain one additional piece of loot from the raid and the potential for special gear as well. Amount of reward are based on number of challenges active, though caches have their own system. Generally only the last few bosses will award caches except in ZG and AQ20 where only Hakkar and Ossirian award caches.
For epic caches, players will get:
0 caches for one challenges active
1 cache for two challenges active
2 caches for three challenges active
3 caches for four challenges active.
4 caches for five challenges active.
-Other rewards will still occur for one or two challenges active. Note that Primordial Essence is a 50/50 chance on most bosses in UBRS, Strath and Scholo.
Leveling Challenges:
-Iron Stomach has been altered and now provides a flat +25 resilience rating
